gti/gt half and half on the front grille

hi  . i saw a pic somewher of a gt withe the gti top grill fitted and the rest of the grille was of the gt. does anybody know where that is . or can anybody photoshop for me on a black gt .

need to show wife as she is giving grief bout me fitting gti grilles to a gt.  this could be a compromise

The GTI and GT upper centre grilles are fully interchangable.  I don't know where any pics are, but I'm sure one of the regular "picture hounds" will be along shortly.

This any help?  Seems to be the opposite of what you are describing (gt upper & gti lower grills)

....There'll be lots of photo examples on the American forum GOLFMKV - They like that sort of cosmetic treatment.
