Your girlfriend will be fine. Buy what you like as long as the money your using isn;t the money from your joint holiday saving account. If the money doesn't effect her then she is really just annoyed your not spending the money on her, but when do they spend that much on you eh?

my Girlfriend is the same with my car and computer, bit of a nerd love new hardware she gets mad. Tip only tell them what you've done when there is nothing they/you can do about to change what you have bought.

Also nice looking car, if you getting running should make your money back easy.

perhaps but my mk2 had 'lost log book' plus just ring up dvla and ask if car ok.

ahem....still absolutely no idea what to do with it....will probably strip it and sell anything I can off it. I don't think there's any point in sticking twin carbs on it, the money would be better spent getting a g60 lump for my car..... mind you I could always drop my 16v into it when I've got my g60 ;D

just not sure how I'm going to get it home......is ?100 reasonable for transport?
