Welcome. Love the ED30 in black. I have one too - manual though. Also felt the brakes could have been improved. Take the dealer sticker off. Will make it look miles better.

....A Warm Welcome to the hottest GTI forum on the planet!

I love Eurotunnel because it's always followed by some happy motoring, especially if you go through Deutschland.

There are lots of brake options from just changing pads and a few components to a whole Big Brake Kit such as Hurdy's or mine. Also, using Seat(?) or R32 brake kits. Obviously I can highly recommend AP Racing's BBK - Brakes you can trust with direct pedal response and no snatching. But expect to pay around £1,700 - You only need fronts and 4-pot calipers unless you're building a stripped out track car with roll-cage etc.

Welcome to the madhouse mate
If you are wanting some better stoppers, but don't want to go for the 600 pot, Ceramic, 10000mm, F1 set up that Hurdy has.  :grin:The R32 brakes are a popular option and not badly priced either..
Just out of interest, what speeds did the German tarmac witness in your ED30?
Is it standard also? Because if you spend much time on here, it won't be for long..
