TDi 150

Went to view this supposedly 150:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=270271787267&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=017

My brother rang him, and he said he had someone viewing at a certain time, and to get here the same time, well alarm bells rang then and thought this 'other' guy could be his mate pretending to look over the car, or could do me over etc, so my brother said he'll come later if it didn't sell, the seller was so desperate that he rang my brother back and said he never turned up, so we went to see it and it just didn't seem right?!

There was no wooden dash or door trim, on the log book the engine code wasn't printed, it didn't look lowered, no cruise control, looked at the sticker in the boot but it was to worn to read it, it had a 150 engine as the boost hose went under the engine cover as they do, also had no m.o.t.

So we walked away, we were then getting txt's from the seller saying he has been offered x amount if i can match it with cash today the car is mine.

Just something didn't seem right about it, seemed like a 115/130 with a 150 engine

cheeky tw@t

does sound really suspect so wouldn't bother, cruise control wasn't standard on the 150 either, although it should have atleast had the wood trim.
