OK, went to Prosport for the revo on saturday, you could not wish to meet a nicer bloke than Peter the owner, he really does have a cracking set-up there at Stockport. Although a Subaru specialist, some really tasty looking cars knocking about, he is looking to branch out into the VAG world.

He did me and another Audi-sport.net member a cracking deal on the re-maps and through in before and after rolling road runs in for free.

My car has only done 1500miles so could benefit from a bit more lossening up

In standard form the car did what alot os S3's are doing, more than the quoted, it did 275bhp 268ft/lbs of torque.

The other fellas, Leon's, car had done 9500miles and made really good figures of 288bhp not sure of the torque.

After the map mine made 302bhp and 319ft/lbs of torque.

Leon's made 318bhp and 328ft/lbs I think which are fantastic figures for a re-map alone.

The car feels fantastic on the road, really lively and progressive, just like standard only more so

We are running T5 B6 F9 at the minute which are a base setting which Peter has used before, so there is room to wind things up a bit more. Revo are doing a deal on the select switches at the minute, £99 for the select plus, which I went for.

I'm confident with a few more miles under its belt my car will produce more power, in fact Peter has invited me a back in a month or so to run it on the rollers again and have a fiddle with the settings.

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Peter and Prosport, he has a very proffesional and friendly set-up going, letting me wonder round and nosey at everything, and free chips & gravy

Glad to see you're happy mate.. Seems the S3 doesn't get the gains that the ED30 gets as it has a big fat power figure out the box (obviously the standard map is set higher on the S3 than the ED30)..
Be interesting to see what it makes (if it makes a difference) if you have boost 8 like mine (other settings are the same).
When you do go again mate, give me a shout as I wouldn't mind getting mine on there rollers to compare..
As I said to Leon, it'll be interesting to see if a few more ponnies get released once the map has settled in properly..

....They usually do. Revo told me to leave it at least a few weeks before a second rr session - Obviously depending on your mileage.

Not sure to be honest, it does go well now, and the standard exhaust does sound nice, its has a flap that opens about 3k revs and inproves the sound

Who am I trying to kid, yes probably

I agree with you on the standard exhaust mate. The one I had for the weekend (and got the Revo demo put on it) sounded mint for a standard motor..
