Im very excited as thigs are finaly taking shape!  Just cant wait to do that "first start"  :grin:

Anyway here are some piccys of the 16v conversion...  Seing that 16v engine in my little 1.4 just makes me grin  :laugh: :grin:

gotta ask though... youre not lifting the engine by the inlet manifold are you...? :shocked:

are you not tidying the engine and engine bay up, or is just a straight swap?

Cant wait to get the 16v alive again i guess, haha!

No i lifted the engine by the lifting eye and wrap arround the gear box but i put it through the maifold just incase the others snaped.  Would rarther have a broken manifold than two broken legs  :grin:

I will be cleaning it all up, that starts today  :grin:  but i only have the hoist on rent for another day so needed to get it in asap.

I think you should def give it a good clean before you drop it in..
Mk3 Golf Gti:Full Milltek system and Decat,K&N filter,mk2 Cam,-1.5 degree camber shims, borbet a's, toyo proxies,hot tuning coils, brembo vented discs, greenstuff pads...Soon to have Eaton Power

mk3 16v 5dr Gti,mintex extreme pads,drilled/grooved discs,lowered,cat back powerflow system,omp panel filter with modified airbox,debadged grill, started prep for spraying, lots to come :D
