First service...

What mileage have you guys been showing on your first service..? As I am now at 12k and still no service countdown lights etc (still on original front boots too  ).. I've heard 9k and also heard of someone having 18k.. So what have you guys found iy comes it at (obviously depends on how the car is driven town/motorway etc)..

I had the first service at 8900 miles. I'm on T & D servicing but still have the long life oil put in.

I must admit that I'm disappointed in you Ben - 12K and still on your first set of boots Then again this maybe why I need a new clutchpack My first set went on at just over 9K

Just had my first service @ 10K (also on T & D) and my Michelins are still showing 5mm on the front.  :embarassed:

yes, mines nxt month by the looks of it, along with car insurance renewel  . oh boy looking foward to seeing nxt months paypacket go in a few days!

ignition on, seat belt in, hold zero trip button in for about 5 seconds or so to give miles or time to go mate

Thanks for that Phil.................. My car was set up for 2 year/long-life, but why is it telling me my service is due in 3600 miles (it is 11 months old now, and has done 9500miles). Surely the service is due around 22-24K and in October 2009

Is it because of my 'maybe a little fast' driving style, so the car is basically needing a service earlier than someone who just poodles around in it?
