EDIT : saw a set of those Passat W8 split rims (MADRAS?!) on ebay yesterday going for cheap. They were only 17's though.

how could i forget  - i just like to remind people that mine's as quick as the GTI's whilst achieving 40% more economy

done 33K in two years so the higher cost has been paid for  especially when you get 500 miles+ without trying 

also means i don't have to check the fuel gauge when giving it some beans
