they reccomend going for a car from 2001 onwards if you have got the cash because they have better ECU's

referring to the AUM that can be remapped to higher BHP than the others?

Not down to the ECU tho, is it!

Your engine will be the AUM with KO3s wHich should have the 06A906032HJ ECU. This ecu and engine combintation can be remapped to 240bhp max out using the stock and incectors and turbo.  A good every day use remap will give you around 210bhp to 220bhp.

from personal experience or doing your job nick, would you advise to get those mods done first, i assume with them i will see more BHP straight away wher as if added after the BHP will obviously change

Hello,

The AGU and ARZ had the Ko3 turbo and the AUM and AUQ have got the VVT & K03S turbo.

You can compliment the remap with tuning mods at a later date it you want, which should free the mid range power up.
But if you put the tuning mod on the car prior to the remap then we can fine tune and adjust the remap and optimize the remap to make the most of your tuning mods which should give a bit more bhp & torque comapred to a generic remap.

New product comming soon. The R-Tech Fusion Remap. A Full Custom Remap to match the unique running characteristics of you engine, plus the code will be edited and tested to meet all your tuning modifications which will allow for fully optomized engine performance. And for as long as you own the car you can have the car re-mapped / tweaked for "free" (just pay for rolling road time around £35-£60 max) to optimize any future tuning enhancements that you might want to add. This will be for all VAG engines year 2000 onwards.
The Fusion remap can be carried out on our Dynocom rolling road or we can offer it as a mobile solution, where we will road test your car with live multi channel data logging, which will be analyzed so we can custom edit your remap time after time. so the end result is a fully customised remap which has fully optomize your engine and tuning addons. Waste of money if you car is fully standard and your not planning on ant extra tuning part. But a brilliant remap solution if your car is a tuning money pit
