The blowers work, but the air con doesn't.  Didn't notice when I was test driving it!

you sure it doesn't just need re-gassing?
I've absolutely no idea.

lol - how did you get on with VW today anyway? did you get your inspection fee back?

Neah, they're nob heads.  Found out they were definitely lying though, it's just the bushes that need replacing.  I think I'm just going to stay clear of VW for good now.

99% will just need a re -gas
You can now re - gas yourself - kit costs £40  :wink:

Worth a shot.  9 year old car, looked through the service records and it's never been re-gassed.  Who sells these kits?

don't some places do an air con check for a couple of quid? that would confirm if it did need a re-gas

look for a local specialist or again take it to Awesome and ask them  :smiley:

Yeah good point TBH  lots of places round here are doing free checks and about £40 -50 for re -gas  :smiley:
