i need some new rubber for my azevs - 16x7 et20

they got 205/50/16 on atm but they are bulgy and rub so much, i mean not drivable rubbing. It is the offset that causes probs. i want to get stretched rubber on them but not sure what will look "stretched" on them.

I was thinking 185/45/16 if i can find some or 195/40/16.

can anyone shed some light on this?

ohh and will i need new rubber though, if i roll/flare the arches? or do i do both???

Cheers!

LL ;)

I think you will struggle with that offset even if you switch tyres.

yeah, im gunna try and roll the arches out this weekend and test it with the azevs. then i will make a decision on what to do. Really want to keep the azevs, they look smart and the offset gives the car a good look, but 16" is a bad size for getting stretched rubber, as its hard to find rubber that goes less than 195.

Would 195/40 give a stretch on 7", probs not???

cheers, alex.

I have some monos for my Rallye and they have Toyo proxy T1-RS (I think that's the latest name) and they are 195/40/16 and they are only a very slight stretch. 195/40 on a 7" will be even less so. I think a slight stretch looks good, too much stretch doesn't really do it for me.
......now officially dubless.
