yeah thats the good thing about 17's, you can get the low look without going really low, as they fill the arches easier. That means you are less likely to rip you splitter off or catch the sump or get grounded on a speed bump!!

i think 16's are the way foreward. i dropped mine approx 70mm on FK's, never had a problem at all with rubbing!!! handles a dream and still has its comfort. by the way can any one find Borbet A's in 5 stud application?

Mine is lowered 50mm on Bilstein Shock & Springs, with 16's. Very happy, Best in my opinion

Mine had 17s and standard springs on when I bought it - gripped well enough but tramlined like a b'stard. Put it back on standard 15s and everything worked SOOOOO much better. Sold the wheels for £140 (even with a knackered tyre) as they were badly kerbed split-rims (kerbed by the previous owner!).

Keeping schtum. Mostly.

Ah someone talking sence......I'm not a fan of 17's and the way the mk3 drives with them fitted!
oh and an answer to a post earlier....its difficult to find 5 to 4 stud converters and it would make more sence to buy some other wheels (as I bet your seaching for ever finding some)

Mine does not tramline one bit with 17"s, even running as low as it is, drives fine.
