Bucking bronco

Hello, newbie here.

Been browsing for quite a while, but now I have a problem... Had my 1.8 turbo for a few months now. It has a few niggles, but I got it nice and cheap. The suspension could shake my fillings out, and for the love of god I need to stop the bloody squeaking noise somewhere at the back...

But anyway, that's not the main problem. It's the acceleration. Giving it a bootful it's fine, but going slowly, especially when cold it's shaking about all over the place. If you pull away with just a little (but steady) throttle, it's jumps backwards and forwards like I'm purposely bunny-hopping it.

Any help in fixing this would be much appreciated.

my car was the same i cleaned the maf sensor and the throttle body and its going perfect now!

i had a squeek that was coming from teh back end turned out that the factory welds that hold the exhaust had come unstuck? but my friend who is  a mechanic welded that back up might be that?

jus thinking when you get it in the car when its cold ect you do allow for your turbo ect to warm up for a few minutes before you drive dont you???

Yeah. The problem is all the time, just more noticeable when the engone is still fairly cold.

Think I'll try the maf sensor and throttle body. Not that I know how to do them, but I'll find out. Cheers.

I would say the same as the guys above, might be worth giving your throttle a clean anyway, sounds most like MAF though
