I've got a Silver 1.8 20v GTI and i think its the best colour for looking clean....  the black shows up the dirt too easily, but its the traditional GTI colour IMO.....  This is a tough choice.

I think, the Gun Metal Grey colour GTI is the smartest colour as you dont see many of those at all!...  I found this pic on ebay to show the colour i mean
