I like that. I might talk my dad into it yet... Maybe start modding his Pajero again  :evil:

I must admit the dash is very dull. Our car does not have the silver lining on the radio. So its a all grey  :undecided:

...I was just about to ask if a forum member was handy with a spray gun

Those stainless steel ashtrays from early GTi’s are like gold dust you'll only get one from a breakers yard these days as they were discontinued, so you were lucky.

Im afraid I won't be painting it myself, I have a friend who owns a bodyshop! Didn't know they were rare  :smiley: Got mine of Fleabay for about £20  :wink:
