....Okay,

FRONT:

The stock front badge consists of a plastic core and a bonded silver VW emblem which can't be separated.

To replace the whole with a CF one, pay £58 and send TTshop your stock one. Stock ones (cores) are needed for CF covering. OR keep your stock one and pay £29 extra.

REAR:

The stock rear assembly consists of a locking mechanism and a removable siver VW emblem.

You won't want to remove the whole lock unit and be without it, so very carefully remove the VW emblem without bending it and send to TTshop. It will cost you £58 to replace it with a carbon one.

So,

Front costs either £58 or £58+£29=£87

Rear costs £58

Front+Rear costs either£116 or £116+£29=£145

All costs include shipping and taxes, providing we can coordinate all the returnables to CarbonDynamics via TTshop in one shipping.

Does this make it any more clear?

£116 for the front and rears or a max of £145 without having to return the cores.

But you need an order of 40 badges in total (any mix of front and rear).

RR your statement on the maximum cost of £145 without having to return the cores has me a little confused since according to Charles from CarbonDynamics you must supply the rear core as VW doesn't supply the core seperately.

Could you clarify?

....Sorry not to be clear. Yes you need to send TTshop the rear 'core' - The badge not the whole lock mechanism. You''l be running around with a totally functional boot lock but just a plain black plate until the carbon badge comes back to you.

You don't have to send TTshop the front 'core' (which is the whole silver VW badge) but if you don't you'll have to pay £29 for Charles to buy one to bond carbon onto for his return to you via TTshop.

Is that easier to understand?

RR one final question regarding the rear badge or should I should ask Charles?

There were two flavours of rear badge, one that was smooth (and prone to worming) and the other with raised VW logo.

Does the type of badge you send in affect the look of the final CF product you receive?
