a bit of advice

I have fitted a reversing camera and with ignition on and in reverse gear the image is displayed but when engine started i lose the picture.I wired this as per parking sensor guide in maintenance section and also tried wiring the same way as the radar install guide but no joy.When i apply 12v via a battery and start car image is still displayed so dont think the problem is the h/unit.Anyone help.Cheers.

Hi did you fix this issue? i am having similar problem, i have installed a video reverse camera to the reverse light connections and the camera only works on ignition on but not when i start the engine, i have a 5inch screen in front but it is the camera that is turning off on my 2007 VW Golf mk5 1.4

I'm no wiring.electrical expert, but are there any ignition feed wires that could be lose or not connected? Maybe connected incorrectly?

will it have something to do with the fact its getting 14v with engine running and only 12v with engine off??? I have no idea btw but its the only thing I can come up with
