This is a brilliant topic, i have a fjord blue GTI and was a little stuck on how to modify the exterior subtly, but some of these look great, they are a bit rare, ive been after two replacement wings second hand but the chances are pretty non existent.

LR5V is a great colour... just get any wings and have them painted up... shouldn't cost too much

you could get a wing without an aerial hole in it then transfer your aerial to the roof for a subtle mod

I always thought OEM+ was the best way forward when I had mine

I thought of getting any coloured bumpers and spraying them myself but what put me off was the colour match..., how well would it match to thhe original paint, baring in mind its had 16yrs of fading time. one of my doors are a slightly different colour to the rest looks like a replacement, was just wondering it would look the same colour???

Because LR5V body parts are so scarce

My rear bumper is knackered, and I was after a replacement for ages. Gave up in the end, got a black (painted) one in the garage and a tub of blue paint ready for the gfs dad to paint for us

Shouldn't be too difficult, he's done a tornado red wing for us before, and given that the rest of the car was tornado pink it matched pretty damn well!
