I just thought of that and I did do it yesterday to get it back to Top Dead Centre so that means rods cant be bent, will still need to check it out though

i suppose it wont take long to take the sump off and check, should be ok as cant be hydrolocked if it's turning over

Weekend job me thinks, got to change the water pump at same time so may just save some time and pull the lump out (for the 36th time) and do everything, if it is just the headgasket that has gone then il just need new stretch bolts and bits and pieces - wish me luck guys

If it makes you feel any better i had 5 numbers on lottery on wednesday and my lass forgot to put it on would have won £1200 just thankfull i didnt have all 6 numbers :cry:hopefully our luck changes for the better and soon.
