RR's car sits on 18" Monza II's. I don't think he has ever had 17's on :undecided:

AP's + great discount = group buy!!

Although I don't need an upgrade (see sig )

Robin took his car to AP during the BBK development with his 17" rims on to see if the kit would fit and it did...

There are photos somewhere on the tyresmoke gti forums so do a search there.

Be aware that whichever size Monza you have, the steel spare wheel will not fit over the AP's. The workaround is to swop around so your steel spare is on a rear wheel.

I cannot praise the AP brakes enough! Sometimes a little noisy but faultless in their stopping power and reliability.

....I might get a couple of days when they squeak and I've had an instance when an inner backplate (a GTI component) was rubbing on very tight cornering but it was easily pulled out of the way. Absolutely nothing worth being bothered about imo.

Thanks RR ! Do you know what the kit number is that you have ? I know they'll be awesome as have a set of AP's on my E46 M3 and they never fade and haul it down from ridiculous speeds wihout any effort at all.

Do you have any problems with wheel weights catching the caliper when on the 17's ?

Hi Danny - I haven't actually run the Monza 17's over the AP's yet - We just fitted them while on the ramp to check fit. I have a close relationship with AP so can find out for you - Yes/No?

Kit # is: CP5200-1056 (front).

Is that the kit # for the 4 pot or 6 pot?

Hi RR, thanks for that - yeah if you can find out that would be great - I know on their website they state 18 or 19's only but the ones I had on my M3 where supposed to only fit 19's and I ran them on 18's

cheers
