Just wanted to say how bad an experience i've had with your office recently! It's liek custoemr service got thrown out the window.

Phoned up not long back asking for a mock idea of what my renewal would be with a 2.0 in.. the guy on the other end sounded very disinterested and disgruntled that i wanted to get a quote or any kind of service.

Had a policy from 1year license/1year ncb till now.. aand it was 1200.. now ive ahd my renewal through and ive been quoted only 1100. phoned earlier to ask if this was the cheapest i could get and i got given what sounded like scripted reply and then complete disinterest once agian.. from a woman this time, oh you want to cancel your renewal then? ok done thanks bye' sort of run of events..

direct line give me a quote of aobut 670, admiral around 750.. so martin are you able to help me any further because there must be soemthing better than 1100 available if these other companies will do it for this amount. and theres got to be a better attitude on the phone from somebody in your office - i found Andy to be very helpful this time last year i admit.

ill pm you my number, if you think you can help can you drop me a shout? cheers

one question here  - has this been resolved ?????

I am with HIC, and as sponsor of this here section I am troubled by a lack of response  :undecided:

PS. Can you tell its approaching renewal time

it is a shame you can't deal with Martin for renewals, I too am up for renewal, a few extras have been added that I know nothing about, they are charging a fee to set up the direct debit (it already exists ffs!), and I was left a message by a rather pi$$ed off sounding HIC woman (won't say her name here though)! Renewals deffo aren't their strong point!

EDIT: my renewal with HIC is over £300, a quick run through direct line runs out at £250, wtf??? HIC saved me a fortune when I first went with them!?

Chuff - no real resolution except me leaving HIC due to their bad attitude, rudeness, and the fact it sounded like they hadnt actually done ANYTHING to help me as a customer to stay with them.. conclusioon. FAIL.

Though amrtin passed no te complaint which was a good thing.. If theyre gonig to have people coming back for renewals, they need to sort it out. Was NOT impressed. Even the fact I'm young doesn't give them the right to treat me like that! But doesnt sound like it was only me..  :undecided:

Sorry to hear that some of you are having troubles with renewals

Both Lee & Matt pm'd me about the problems they have been having with renewals so i passed the details to the renewals manager to check out, and assumed all was good as i didnt hear anything else.

I was left a message by a rather pi$$ed off sounding HIC woman (won't say her name here though)!

lol let me know via pm, ALL the renewals staff are currently female now apart from the actual renewals manager.....

If you are having problems then let me know, although there is not much i can do personally with renewals, i will make sure they are brought to the renewals managers attention (will be showing him this thread !!!!!).

Martin

Sorry to say that HIC would not quote me at all. 37 years old, driving 19 years, 9 years no claims, looking quote for 1996 vr6 highline, was very dissappointed. They did not give me a reason, but i beleive it to be that i live in Northern Ireland

Ended up paying £260 fully comp with local company

A lot of insurance companies will not quote in Northern Ireland or will have special rates for the area - seems a bit daft if you ask me!

Keeping schtum. Mostly.
