Alternator belt

im gonna change my alternator belt and wondered if there was any point in getting one from VW or would halfords etc be as good because the nearest vw garage is a while a way and halfords is a 2 min walk plus i have to go down pay and go back someother day to pick it up because they wont order something without the money up front  >:(

I wouldn't buy parts from Halfords, only hand tools.
I bought a thermostat for my vr from Halfrauds, and my car started overheating.
VW thermostat sorted it.
Don't buy sh!t...

I assume its the fan belt your talking about!, halfords one will do the job!

Well it is attached to alternator so i called it an alternator belt  :P
