I want to do this but i would need a new exhaust system so that the tailpipes are in the centre (like the R32). Who makes these type and where can they be ordered?

....It saves valuable milliseconds whenever I do a pit stop!

The truth is that a while ago one got nicked (tiny mark as leverage evidence on a 17") and I replaced it at £5 cost. Then I lost another one and thought blow this if it's going to cost me a fiver everytime. When I inspected the other 3 for any evidence of forced removal (which there wasn't), I noticed the dreaded 'white worm' so I thought blow this and decided to remove them all. I've been on the lookout for either some BBS ones or carbonfibre ones which fit, but the Monza caps seem to be an odd size.

i noticed red robin, you have a BIG white worm problem with all your monza II's at santa pod, im surprised youve not got these repaired because it doesnt do justice to the condition of the car. as you look after your GTi with kid gloves, are you holding out for a new set of wheels and thats why you left them to get quite bad or just cant be asked????

....I'm waiting for the white worms to get even worse before taking them to Lepsons and having them powder-coated to a dark silver to match the Ed30 colour. After my white worm experience I won't want a diamond-cut+lacquer finish again!

I think that the Monza design is too specific to the Mk5 GTI to want to change it - Very easy design to clean too .

I personally don't like the look of black alloys on a red car.
