When my car has been running for sometime the clutch pedal feels like it is grinding or rubbing. it is a 1.3 4-speed. i want to know before i fit the 5-speed ive got in my shed

It's more likely to be the release bearing, rather than the clutch.
Box has to come off to sort it whatever, if it IS to do with the clutch.

Might be the cable sticking/rubbing in its sheath, change/check the clutch cable before doing anything too drastic

since the box will be coming off ill replace the clutch, the release bearing, and the cable
