That looks rubbish...

Rather go out. Buy the cloth and simply wrap the cloth around the trim piece and use a glue gun to fasten the fabric behind. And replace the trim on the dash. Much better.

The glossy finish look terrible.

Ah, didn't notice it had a glossy finish! So I've changed my mind and don't like it.  But if it was cloth then I'd probably like it.

Now one thing i do like about the R32 is the carbon fibre effect silver trims rather then plain silver ones from the GTi's

Don't you mean the "engine spin" pattern on the trim?  I can't recall any carbon fibre in the R32 as standard :undecided:

it looks like carbon fibre, but i guess its what you call it. i did see an aftermarket trim kit, but last time i looked, they wanted half a kidney for it! :sad:

Yeah, again OSIR do carbon fibre trims in black or silver for the GTI, but I don't really fancy taking the Edition 30 logo'd one off.
