They look a bit square to be fronts, have you compared them to the ones on your car?

After looking at the pic, it looks that these are rear brakes to be honest.

Looking at some pics from an eBay auction on R32 front brakes http://cgi.ebay.de/Golf-5-R32-Bremsanlage-komplett-Vorderachse_W0QQitemZ170212427541QQcmdZViewItem, these look different.

Or the identical S3 frontbrake kit http://cgi.ebay.de/Audi-S3-8P-Bremsanlage-A3-8P-8PA-auch-Golf-5-V-Bremsen_W0QQitemZ150237542263QQcmdZViewItem

The R32 kit I missed out on http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330226928658&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:DE:1123

The s3 kit looks better imo , the R32 are one single large pot like my old ST ones, if there that good maybe i should have kept them instead of selling them so cheap LOL

AFAIK the S3/R32/Cupra brakes are identical apart from color.
They're single pot and not the best brakes out there, but a relatively affordable OEM upgrade from the not-so-great GTI setup

I noticed that article too, he did have bigger 12pots which caused too much dust or something - says the R32's are fine.

I also used Euro Car parts for my brake pads when VW didnt have any UK stock and I needed some, genunie stamped parts cheaper

I'm hoping the 10 pots I've ordered are better dust-wise. The 12 pots have much larger pads (almost double that of the R32 ones) and so shed quite a bit of dust, whereas the 10 pots have around 50% more. I'll live with the dust if the brakes are as good as I've been told

10 Pots, are you planning on re'arranging your internal organs  I assume they're a small piston design?

Yeah, they are small pistons in TAROX calipers.

hmm, you do need to ba careful with to many pots, you would probably get better results with 6 pots, but just wouldnt look as good i guess

Nice. What colour have you gone for. The Gun metal ones would look nice on your car.
