After looking at the pic, it looks that these are rear brakes to be honest.Looking at some pics from an eBay auction on R32 front brakes http://cgi.ebay.de/Golf-5-R32-Bremsanlage-komplett-Vorderachse_W0QQitemZ170212427541QQcmdZViewItem, these look different.Or the identical S3 frontbrake kit http://cgi.ebay.de/Audi-S3-8P-Bremsanlage-A3-8P-8PA-auch-Golf-5-V-Bremsen_W0QQitemZ150237542263QQcmdZViewItem
I noticed that article too, he did have bigger 12pots which caused too much dust or something - says the R32's are fine.I also used Euro Car parts for my brake pads when VW didnt have any UK stock and I needed some, genunie stamped parts cheaper
I'm hoping the 10 pots I've ordered are better dust-wise. The 12 pots have much larger pads (almost double that of the R32 ones) and so shed quite a bit of dust, whereas the 10 pots have around 50% more. I'll live with the dust if the brakes are as good as I've been told
