215/40x16 is standard size for the anniversary wheels but many people fit 205/45 as there much cheaper and dont seem to effect the speedo reading much

The width/ratuio would make them virtually the same.

Finally made a decision yesterday

I bought a set of 4 brand new tyres at the correct 215/40 R16 size.
I went for budget/middle of the road, as i hardly drive the thing.

I can tell that the tyres on before were totally the wrong size, as they were nearly new michelins, but they felt rubbish compared to the new budgets.

car feels like a completely different one!

I got a good deal, all 4 for £150!!!! good thing about bristol, endless amounts of trading estates!
