Does anyone know how much it would cost just to put it on the rolling road as it is without remapping??

can vary anywhere from £20 up to about £50  :undecided:

looking good, as for speed imagine what a remap does

Never say never! How have you found your fuel cons Shaun since the re-map?

seems same as before remap imo, not seen a difference at all

That's good to know. I suppose it's similar to getting a new exhaust, you just wanna hear it which means   which then means fuel usage goes

Stealth Racing at Southam are meant to be pretty good they regularly hold RR days, if you can get enough people involved it brings down the price.

Best to get a day sorted and RR at that mate. Then you've got others to compare it against.. I'll be well up for sorting one soon though, as mine gets Milltek and map done this weekend hopefully and will be wanting to know what she does..

i expect i'll get a Milltek exhaust at most.

famous last words

.... That's EXACTLY how I started and look what happened to me!!

I had absolutely no plans or intentions to mod. Coming from a standard BMW straight-six with a great exhaust note, I immediately found the GTI's cabin over sound-proofed and that's purely why I changed exhaust. Then I learnt that the Milltek is a performance exhaust.

My story :- http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=76814.0

Which reminds me I need to get some decent pics of my new R32+Carbonfibre rear and update that thread.
