they shoud just use a couple of layers of thick primer to smooth it out, then spray. The only problem is that it chips alot easier is a stome were to hit it. best buying the R32 sides and an ed30 front splitter, then just get the back sprayed. although then you would probably want the ed30 rear aswell

if i were you i would wait abit longer, save some more money, and do the above

Car Cosmetics in Trafford Park. I have used them for loads of work and they have been absolutely spot on. They are a bit pricey but you pay for what you get at the end of the day. They are VW Approved and everytime I have been in there are dinged Lambos and Ferraris hangin round which makes me feel slightly more comfortable about getting my car done there!

Think I would prefer the ED30 skirts instead of R32.  I've never noticed the front was a bit different on the ED30 - I want the colour coding and the R32 rear light clusters - should have bought an ED30 but just didn't love the interior and the golf ball on the gear stick but probably would have been cheaper to change that lot than bring the GTI exterior up to the ED30! oh well.  I also want RNS510 to top it all off - wish I never joined this forum

Wonder what the chance of finding a steel grey ED30 in a brokers yard with perfect exterior is -

i thought the r32 sides and ed30 sides are the same, same as the rear lights. r32 rear lights are my next mod.
