lights on under bridges

when following Gaz the other day on the motorway, everytime we went under a tunel his lights went on and then turned off automatically when he came out. do all ed30's do this and how do i do it  :smiley:

You can switch them off completely if you want to or have them set to come on like that :)

Just turn the light switch onto "Auto", when its dark they will turn themselves on/off depending on the light that the sensor receives. The sensor is at the top of your windscreen where your rear view mirror mounts on the glass. It also detects rain and puts your wipers on if they are in Auto.

This is assuming you have the sensor   :smug:

If you have autolights your switch will have four positions. The completely off position is at 11 o clock, auto lights is at 12 o'clock.



If you only have three positions then you don't have autolights. Hope that helps dude.

hey that helps alot cheers!!! so if you leave it on the auto one, then leave your car, will it set off the beeping alarm or can it be on this setting all the time??  :huh:

On occasions I have put my lights on manually (the light sensor seems to have a mind of it's own!) then forgotten to turn them off when I got to work, they have gone off as they would if the auto function was set.

Just leave it in that position all the time, if the lights have been on they will turn themselves off after a short delay when you get out. Think they call it comin home lights or something
