are they?

my alloys are genuine audi s3s.. ive been told there center caps are 61mm and dip in the center, the guy at vw said he dont think any vw alloys have similar center caps that will fit.

Yes. You can buy an Audi part through VW dealers (and vice versa) or atleast you should be able to. I can with my local dealer. You can also, if you wanted, get your car serviced by Audi and vice versa. Or atleast you can with my local Audi/VW (dealer but most people choose not to).

Just a note - consider getting the R32 skirts if your going to paint the sides, easier as they will be new and they are smooth and come primed ready for paint.

I paid £200 for the sides painted and fitted and the finish was much better than the original GTI sides which were painted when I bought the car.

I paid £450 to have my sides, front, back and wing mirror housing all colourcoded.

I must admit I'm thinking of doing the same on my red GTI. However it does look really good as it is though.

I'm waiting for my quote to come through.  I've also bought an edition30 rear valance so it should look awesome.  I popped in vw on my way back from the bodyshop to see how much primed r32 skirts are and i almost fell over when he said £350 with a bit of discount.

Its seems the work is all in flattening the texture, a number of processes it seems

I'm hoping for £450 as the max the quote comes in at but the guy is awesome so expect to pay for the quality.
