Used that handy search feature you were on about Rhsyso to my disappointment , i found out the golf gti turbo i bought wasn't the 180bhp model that was strongly advertised! the sticker on the boot states 110kw, this is definitely a 150bhp i have isn't it? well annoyed! is there any way of getting a remap on a 150bhp to make it 180bhp or even more?

Remaps start around the £200 mark and i believe you get what you pay for.

Use that search function again for remaps

Head start though - I've got Custom Code on my TDI and its very OEM in its delivery; well worth the money

That sucks! still love the golf , think its a wee rocket , but annoyed at being lied too. i bought it privately from a guy i thought was genuine, but now i think he is a complete wayne kerr! lol dangers of buying from autotrader i suppose! definitely gonna get that remap got some spare cash to burn. gonna use that clever search feature I think my gti is also needing coil packs as it has being playing up very occasionally. gonna phone my local VW hopefully get a freebie! why do i always get bad luck with cars!

I paid bang on 7k for it mate , it came with 1 month old Rs8 18" alloys and toyo tyres, miltek full system, tints and more. is that over priced? im gonna get pics up for you all over the weekend if my girlfriend will let go off her digi cam for a day! lol

what reg?? mileage?? hate to say it but that sounds very expensive  even with the mods and wheels

what spec has it got?? i'd expect it to be fully loaded for that price

its a 52 plate registered 09/2002 with 47k miles, its black, full leather heated seats, traction control, angel eyes, pipercross viper induction kit with cold air intake, bailey dump valve, rear light replacements to black smoked ones. FSH, a years ticket also. Aw well whats done is done now, im still happy i bought it, but a little bit angry deep down at the seller not the car, never mind ! is there any meets up my way in scotland?

from the list of mods already on the car wouldn't be surprised if it had already been re-mapped and thats why they were saying 180bhp

being a 52 plate the price sounds and with that spec it sounds ok; perhaps a little bit expensive but not as bad as i first thought lol
