But when my mates keep whipping me one in his type r, an other in vts, it wasn't as close as i thought it would be, but then 0-100 should be a better race than 0-60,

but at leastalso when he's got sweaty pants in the summer il cruise past wiv my climate control keeping me fresh!

VTS's arent "that" quick... 8.4secs to 60.

and nothing after 100... cos they fall apart from too much wind disturbance lol

I have to disgree, the vtr was bout 9.2ish an vts 120bhp nearer 0-60 in 7.6, where as gtiT's bout 8.2/4 not certain, bout half a second, but half a second at 70 mph is bout 1 to 1.5 cars lengh so it looked worse tahn it was

my figures arnt spot on by any means but hey much faster than 8.5

The Pug 106 GTI and the Saxo VTS are the same car.

A magazine asked Peugeot why the 0-60 of its GTI was slower than the VTS when their the same car... and Peugeot said and i try to quote from memory

"Cos our time is realistic"

i'm surprised, i didn't realise the 106 was 16v i no the pugs an saxo's used the same engines, everyone does it, seat audi vw, all lazy buggers  lol

there still french an plastic, thats why there fast, one of his mates also got one of those horrible nova conversions, 2.0/1.8 gsi squezzed into a f reg white nove wiv nothin inside but 2 front seats wheel an a gear stick. Another wolly on the road!!!

lol wen i was coming home from work on friday night on a motorway, this little hard man thinking the road was all his with a little fiesta was tailgating me ( must have been tailgating me at around 75 mph which is not right at all )...  so after a while i finally let  him pass me and as soon he went past me i switched lanes and flew past him at 100 , knowing it was a little fiesta, his car would have felt like an  earthquake inside if he'd went any faster

yep .. 106 GTI 16v ... its the only 106 thats 16v. 120bhp.

oh and the 106 GTI 16vweighs less than the VTS.

what about the 106 rallye limited? Thats 1.6 16v and weighs less than them all.
