I agree on the paint, if black CF on a black car and silver CF on a silver car i wouldnt either.

If I had the cash for luxuries like carbon fiber bonnet and mirrors, I'd buy something different from GTI instead, some sportcar, and not a hatch with sporty aspirations.

Only thing is, if I bought a full on sportscar, I'd still want to mod that and then you could say that I could have bought a supercar instead. I'd end up with a modded Bugatti or Reventon Lambo

Now is it just me.. or does it look like your bonnet isn't shut all the way down in that last pic? Could be due to the reflections, or just a little alignment required.

It looks okay from the fit and shut lines I'll have another look, but I'm pretty sure it's okay.

The standard bonnet weighs 13.6kg and the CF one under 8kg. When you unlatch the bonnet it goes up on its own from the bottom now

Oh and it looks as good under the bonnet as on top as it is double skinned

Hi RR,

I ended up leaving the rear DTM lower spoiler as Justin agreed that it wouldn't fit an ED30.

That means I have another £500 to top up my modding fund.

Had a closer look and it does look a little up (about 3mm). I'll have to look and see if there is any room for adjustment downwards. While I'm looking at it I'll take pics of the underside.
