Hmmmm, heat gun........now that might be a really good idea. Disconnect the plastic from the metal (as previously mentioned) straighten the metal and gently heat gun the plastic back to shape..........I'm cheering up, I'll try it, nothing to lose
Thanks for the idea's and comments.........this site and the people here are great

Rich,
Thats really bad news mate, I'm sorry to hear thats happened. But as a few people hear have suggested, take it apart and have a good look at the damage. Should be easily repairable, as it is only plastic. Even a bit of time shaping it with some filler should work. As for spraying, you maybe able to the job yourself. Like you said, what have you got to lose?

Cheers guys and girls
Unfortunately I'm working the whole of the easter break...........but I've got back early this evening so I'm going to whip it off now and see just how bad the damage is. I've got my fingers crossed that once I get it off, it'll try and spring back to its original shape

these young 'uns
I had something a bit like that. I got another metal peice from the scrapper and swapped it over. my indicator was smashed though and there's still a dink in that wing.
good luck

Managed to seperate the plastic from the bumper bar........bit fiddley, but took my time.
Tried Blue MK2's suggestion in using a heat gun on the plastic. Didn't think it was working so put the heat gun away........came back to the bumper plastic 5 minutes later and it was all straight
Blue MK2 you are a star
Still a little cosmetic damage from the physical scrape of hitting the wall but that should touch up enough to hardly notice.......I hope
The bumper bar is quite badly damaged, however, I can get one of those from anywhere...........whats even better is it looks like the Mk2 bumper bar might be the same.......I'm whipping that one off my mk2 tomorrow to see for sure, but needless to say I'm smiling again now
.........And there was no damage to the wing or front valance..............boy was I lucky.........and a good lesson well learnt
