So, thats all for the standard GTI right...?
So with an Ed30 and a few extra bits, 325-355bhp is attainable? OMG! Thats just crazy!

amazing , wheres the limit on this engine

From this kit I surmise the following :

1. I need a fuel pump to get the ultimate map (compare this with Gaz's recent conversation with APR)
(If the ED30 has the same pump as the std GTI , then this means you need the upgrade , or risk fuel cut issues if you dont?)

2. I DONT need a FMIC upgraded (only highly recomended)

LSD looking more and more mandatory..........

.... 255 bhp, let alone 355, feels pretty fast on a FWD Golf! I would be worried about traction and additional engine stresses. The unofficial VW 'headroom' is 140% - So what's a standard Ed30? 230 bhp? + 40% = 322 bhp approx.

What's the torque on this APR gear?

They have had over 360lbft from it

I personally am going to sit with the ED30 updated software that Gazbutmk5 has and see what it gives me on the rolling road on the 5th April. Gaz didn't have the full Milltek either and so if I get close to 310bhp with the DSG then I will be a very happy bunny  Even at this I think I'm going to have to invest in an LSD.

U would think that 350bhp+ is plenty enough for a fwd car.

Its getting into silly money if your adding fuel pumps @ what could be £1-2k just to get to 350bhp.
my limits 320-330, as you would be better of buying the S3 .

I think your right there. Why waste all that power when you could just buy an s3 + remap and not waste any?? Surely the price is coming into the same bracket?? Not to take anything away from any of you who are planning this of course :lipsrsealed:
