Update on car, got the new rods installed, was held up by trying to remove crank bolt to fix a weeping seal, managed to get the bolt off just need to pick the seal out whci is been a bar steward

got all surfaces cleaned up and ready to rebuild back up tomorrow

new turbo set up looks like it will be a easy fit, especially the downpipe which i was worried about

left is K04 set up, right is the MTM kit, gonna cut the MTM pipe where the Flange is on the Ko4 pipe and have the same flange fabricated and welded so it will just bolt right up to my exhaust as normal.. RESULT!

Flipping heck Brad! I've just caught up on the last couple of month's worth of updates, one word - mental!!

New turbo is going to be mental, you'll have to take me out for a spin sometime

I'm looking forward to seeing this at Leeds next month

You say Carbon have your ECU at the mo? Will they be mapping it while out of the car or you drive to them and map it on the rollers?  :embarassed:

ECU is getting sent to QST (MTM UK people) for the correct map putting on it..  (carbon have the MTM one that came with the kit  thats no good for my engine as it was from a APY which is a lot different to the AMK and BAM units

QST have asked me to send both the ECU;s and they will sort the correct map on to my ECU and post them back

car will then be drivable.... right to Carbon for custom map

had a test mount earlier, Wastegate fits with LOADS of space, Turbo fits with space, MTM downpipe has too much of a swing on the bend and is hitting my Rear engine mount!!!

Having to cut it up and re weld, failing that the car will have to go to my fabricators to have a whole new one made... Ben seems to think his idea will work so we will see tomorrow
