Not arguments on the fact they look stunning guys. But it all depends on what money you're looking at for them? I've got a really good deal on the TD's and for a lightweight alloy, it'll take some beating. Plus i'm staying at 18"' too. Don't want to upset the ride or have the car sat high (can't lower, company car)..

Black wheels on a white ED30 look gorgeous, but its gotta be the black 18" monzas (rockinghams,detroits...whatever!!) like on peskariks! Personally I don't think those wheels suit the GTi at all, but everyone to there own.

You can always get the BBS in 18's....you dont always have to get 19's...wont look the same as 19s but would still look good and dont think it would upset the ride height or anything

I would have the black Monzas like a shot. But at £283 a wheel (without tyres)  , no thanks!!! In fact I have constantly been scouring Ebay/Internet looking for a set to come up, but with no luck!  
With me getting it mapped too, I don't want to end up spending £1000's on it really.. Just want a nice set of black wheels to go on and i've always loved the TD's. But as I say, haven't ruled other options out yet. Ideally I want to buy the new wheels with the money I get from selling the Pescara's (in other words, not have to fork out any more £'s).. Now with Pescaras being £421.34   EACH! (from dealer) I should get reasonable money for them (no where near that I realise) as they will be 'As New'.. In a perfect world! lol

im sure the dealer would supply you with black rockinghams in a trade for the prescaras. they should be able to do this if you ask very very nicley shouldnt they??

You'd think so mate, wouldn't ya.. Especially as the list price on the Pescara is nearly £150 dearer PER WHEEL!!! But spoke to the dealer and they are not interested whatsoever (can't say i'm suprised to be honset  )
