Am I turning into a miserable old git?
« on: 06 March 2008, 20:54 »
Kids down my road are booting a football around outside my house.  They are good kids really, and I did the same when I was younger, but it's hit my car a couple of times in the past, and at this time of night after a bloody long day at a crappy job I just want to relax.

I'm gonna check my car over in the morning, if there's any marks on it i'm gonna have words .

Off to watch Ashes to (I want that Quattro) Ashes now.

its a funny one this, im totally overprotective of my car and id be at the window watchin if kids were playin round my car.  I think u only qualify as a grumpy git if you run outside swearin at them if the ball goes on your grass.
This happened quite a bit wen i was a kid. we used to play with a fugby ball tho.  they bounce all over the shore and sometimes went on neighbours grass.  1 of them was majorly crazy about anythin on his grass.  I remember we used to do that tippy toe thing wen we went on his garden for some reason.  As if that made a difference.

I can remember being one of those kids, one time when we were having a kick about we smashed a windscreen on someones brand new 4x4 pickup truck ooooooops. Depends on the area, if there is a park nearby then yea you shuold be getting P****D off, but if there is nothing like that around then where else can they go? At least they are not hanging around the town causing trouble
Lane discipline:

You should always drive in the left-hand lane when the road ahead is clear. If you are overtaking a number of slower-moving vehicles, you should return to the left-hand lane as soon as you are safely past.
