Considering an Ed30
« on: 06 March 2008, 15:55 »
I've been considering gettng a Ed30, had a couple of drives and really like it.  Trouble is they just don't seem to do discounts.  Ideally i'd have a year old one, but the VW dealers seem to price these close to new.  How much should I be able to negociate off a new/used example?  I don't really want to pay full whack and then take a hit on depreciation.

I would like an Ed30, but have recently been looking at Astra VXR's, available new for £16k, they seem better value for money, as quick, great fun to drive and surprisingly well built.  Now I know the Ed30 is a more rounded car, it certainly gets its power down more smoothly, but is it really £6k better?

OllieB were you on the M90 last Friday going north?

I am sure I passed that car with that plate.  Would have been late afternoon.
