Hi

Not to good to explain in english but il try.

I first had stage1 on my edition30.Then i put on complete exhaust from turbo including downpipe with 100cell sportcat and New intercooler. Then i went to a dyno, and did a unexpect look at the dyno, i had lost 10hp after my modification. So  you have to upgrade your remap to get the extra out of your exhaust.Il did a upgrade of my remap and now the car runs as it should.

So dont expect more with your exhaust without new remap

Cheers

I drove a MK2 Leon at the weekend there and it was fitted with Milltek downpipe and system and also had revo to about 320hp, was fast and not at all boomy, but it did rattle sometimes on idle maybe just not fitted 100%, i have heard of issues reg the downpipes and the cell light coming on, last being an MTM tuned S3 audi.

Thanks for the heads up Wolfbane. I'll see how it works out next week. If Superchips indeed do not launch new maps, may have to go to Manc to fork out for a new APR map!

I've already got the non-resonated GTI catback for my car. Just gonna fit the down pipe next week to the system. Got the DV and dogbone insert done a month ago too. Dogbone insert makes alot of difference for 25 quid.
Kev

Which insert did you go for, ECS or Neuspeed?

Got the ECS dogbone insert.. Cheaper
Got an email from Superchips, they will no longer develop anymore maps for the ed30, since they are selling it. Thats just crap, that means i'll have to go to APR or something to get custom map for my intake and exhaust now. 599 quid down the sh*ter!

Can't agree more Robin. I just wish i made the trip to APR (even got the cruise fitted, cos i was certain to use APR before i even got the ed30) or to GIAC. The DIY with bluefin was just too enticing at the end.
Which map would you guys n girl(s) go for GIAC or APR? Heard great reviews from GIAC over at the Audi forums.

I have no experience of the GIAC remap although (like you) I've heard good reports about them. The APR is a great remap and I have no qualms about recommending it.

....Definitely APR - I don't like the GIAC sole UK agents in Southampton nor what others have said about them. APR - Awesome in Manchester area are a great bunch of guys who will look after you.
