it does not suit the GTI honeycomb foggy surrounds. Looks better with the GT fog light surround because it is the vertical design which goes with the design of the lights. The reason why they look good on teh R32 is because it has no fog-lights and open vertical grills. I dont think it looks nice when you have foggys aswell.

And im not keen on taking off the honeycomb for the GT type. And the price isnt cheap either plus labour. Its one expensive mod !

NO people the grey gti and those R32's have been massacared, they are .
very camp styling. If anything the law should be changed to ban them as they are gross.
each to their own, but if i saw that grey gti I'd piss myself laughin.

If Phil and a few others who own a grey GTI were to see that i dont think they would be too happy....sometimes i feel some views and opinions are just best kept towards myself.

Oh and the DRL's are awesome!

I own a grey mk5 , but you miss my point that euro look mk5 was IMO horrible and as its a forum i can say that, you can all say you like them but when 1 person says no then i should keep it to myself, why? if you want to put drl's on fine, my opinion is they dont suit the mk5 golfs .I have seen them in real life and i dont like them on audi's.I see Robin's point of  the safety aspect but think they can be both better styled and presented.

I agree with maxamus they would look better with my type of front end , just above the fog lights....

BUT

Why whould you want to make a VW golf look like a audi just buy a audi.

Even though they look good not my type of mod.

....I agree that they would suit the Mk5 GT better because of the grills.

Audi don't have a monopoly - It's just that they are the first to introduce them. Just see what happens in the next few years! LED DRL's will be standard on most cars by 2011, not just Audis.
