Makes two of us, my battery is dead on my GTi too.  Haven't driven her in two weeks.  :(  Been too busy with work and driving my company car around.

mmmm nice car.

Good to seee VW SA are still making the old Citi's
I rekon it would be worth importing some, they're basically MK1's but brand new

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Thanks Mike.

I wouldn't say the Chico's themselves as per say, I think there's been niggles along the line of Citi's...remember, all the presses & jigs etc. are arond 30 years old.

Yea, the new Citi's, like the Velociti and now the Rox have a nice interior.  I still wouldn't buy one new!  They INCREDIBLY overpriced!
