No one knows yet except the factory what engine will be in it but it wont be these

i beleive they are gonna be using a 2.0TSI lump and a 3.2 aswell

2.0 TSI, is there something you know that i might not.

The speculators were backing an uprated version of the 1.4TSI lump and maybe even a 1.6TSI :undecided:

Never going to happen.

The 1.6 will be deleted from all vw engines, IMO, its old technology.

Also The idea of the 1.4 TSI engines is to give the best of both worlds.

Fuel enconemy around town and the power when needed, supercharger.

The will be no point in VW putting in a 2.0 Tsi engine, if anything they will give the following options.

1.4 tsi 140
1.4 tsi 170
2.0 tdi 140
2.0 tdi 170
2.0 fsi 200 bhp ( the one in the gti).

and possibly the new upgrade old 3.2 ( r32) engine to the new 3.6 ( r36) petrol engine.

But its all specultion cause until a few weeks before launch no one can be possitive.

They have ruined the front compared to the IROC concept car, other than that they have done quite well.

What a missed opportunity, its lost the sleek, techno feel. Defo agree about the Imprezza looks.

I was going to wait until this came out before I ordered my ED30, glad I didn’t!

Rock on ED30 in Candy White... here in 10 days.

Again this happens alot.

Its an artists impression, it might look like that it might not.

The way that alot of cars look these days have more to do with euro n cap safety.

Smaller rear windows, lower fronts etc.

Thats why so many cars look like one another.

It a register your interest site.

And yes there does seem to be a 2.0 Tsi Engine.

Which would lead me to believe that VW intend to replace the currant 2.0 Fsi engine( all though its not been that for a while), with a new 2.0 TSi.

Now where did i put that Humble pie,

....Exactly what I was going to say. Especially the rear. Looks like a Golf Coupe. Sat in an Eos this morning - Black hard top with maroon leather, quite smart but I don't like open top cars.
