Cheers buddy. Where were you back then?!?!? Haha, needed your backup lol. Its coming along nicely and like you say, no endless money supply, just that end of month pay check. That's why its taken this long to get where it is now. Well worth it, and cheaper than a real baby I reckon haha.

Windscreen is booked in for tomorrow, so good news! I'll see how I get on with things tonight and I might book an MOT in for Thursday.

never noticed this thread before, by any change what did u do with your old engine and your home made induction system for the 1.4 ;)

I might actually still have the old induction kit around. Will need to check I haven't binned it, cause I got a feeling I binned it. It was only a silicon reducer 90 elbow, a 135 ali pipe with a connection on it for that rubber hose that goes into the airbox and then a cone filter. Probs get the lot quite cheap off ebay.

Update: Looked over the front end, wheels off, no knocking noises when I turn the steering wheel, nothing is loose. Looking at the tyres and feeling them, I'd say the tracking is out. Has the snake skin effect, rough one way, smooth the over. Will get that checked and the wheel balance checked and hopefully that is the problem! Last day of MOT tomorrow, so will take it down to the tyre place after work tomorrow.

well if you do find it dude give us a shout priced it up on ebay can be rather expensive so if u still got it! wouldn't mind purchasing it!

anyway whats up with the 1.4 cause i would like a vr6 but im going enjoy the fuel consumption through this tough period and laugh at the amount your putting into your vr6's!

Haven't got it bud :(

Tracking and camber is done. Just going to test drive it now.

Oh and me and Stu just got back from watching Harry Potter lol. Random night! Was 10.30 and we saw the film was at 11pm, so we thought - take a break and come back later.

Pro Plus + Rockstar ftw :D
