If you have time mate, can you do me a favour please? (It's going to sound strange!)

Can you measure the diameter top to bottom of the wheel and tyre please? need to work out sizes for coilovers

Hero!! Cheers mate, going to measure them later on as i want to run the same wheel/tyre setup as you. I'm too cheap to get really expensive coilovers so i think i'm going to go SPAX lol

some say well just sell and get a gti, but i have got attached to it sort of. i guess when you work it so much, you want to complete the project.

looking at all engines, if time and money allow, then 1.8t is going in. need to think about it, but you can pick up a 8v engine very cheap, abf 16v are a little more expensive as are a vr.

pm sent shady.

LL ;)

LOL, didn't realise it was that long ago!

I was really just surprised that I did it after saying I was going to do it. I still am!

Shame its off the road and f**ked. Just because its been on the road for like 8 months, doesn't mean your in the clear, things can still go wrong!

Hopefully when I'm driving it again, the engine bay will look a little tidier and the wiring will be sorted and routed properly (finally  )

Seeing how funds go, wheels might see some paint and might fit new coilovers too. Depends how long it takes to sort out my wiring (aka the problem)
