Personally, I'd be wary buying a tuned car, simply because you really don't know how and where it has been driven, and what kind of service it got.

....Yes, in my case you'd have all the documentary evidence but you'd have to rely on your own judgement of me as being honest and genuine in answering your questions. If someone doesn't trust me, then it's their problem not mine.

am off to awesome tomorrow to have a chat about this

i quite fancy having the faster MkV in the uk!

once you add brakes and diff and associated hardware..i dont think its gonna be the deal of the century, but it will certainly be unique and very very fast ( porsche gt3 fast)....for less than 25k.

I was considering going down this route but decided to go with an ED30 just for ease of modding and keeping a VW warranty.

There is a guy on the Audi forums whos running 380BHP+ on an S3 with a re-map, Downpipe and sports cat and Cat-back exhaust, apart from the IC the S3 and ED30 motor is the same..

Having the higest power MK5 in the UK is quite a different thing to having the fastest

Seems a good offer but I would imagine there would be lots of conditions, dates they will need the car to be available at shows, mag pieces etc..

i wouldnt do it without a quaiffe diff, 10 pot brakes,...it should arguably be the fastest mkV provided it can get its power down....see what jim has to say tomorrow.

I'd buy it of you mate. Not that you'll ever sell it or I'll ever have enough money for it.
