thats
2 clips holding on the pipe from cover on LHS (as you look at engine)
1 clip for the MAF sensor plug (I left sensor in engine cover and unplugged it rather than unscrew sensor itself)
just remember its still in the cover and dont go banging it about , or touching the filament!!!!

Theres some good DIY guides on here and mkv's and gtiforum

Once off take any 'rubber bungs' that may have stayed on cover off and replace onto posts of engine (there are 4 )
Wetting them (+ fairy liquid) before putting the cover back on makes an enromous diff to getting them on without feeling you are about to break the cover.

be firm but gentle

Are these kits worth getting then chaps? I notice a few of you have them now. Is there any performance gains, or merely sound and cosmetic (do look nice, have to say)?

Before I had it remapped I noticed better throttle response and an eagerness for the engine to rev a bit more. I did have it done the same times as my Milltek though so I can't say for sure it was just the Carbonio. It does make a nice noise and easier breathing is only a good thing for an engine. I'm getting a Stage 2 map in a couple of weeks to put the higher airflow to better use.

Yeah, I'll take it out and see what condition its in when summer rolls around. Maybe clean off the winter grime or go with Reds Recommendation
