Local auto electrician, quick job? how much you reckon they would charge to fit it?

that kit is a simple plug out and plug in new one.

Mine has 10 different colored wires that need to be soldered to the loom on the central locking pump. Oh and none of the colors match! Just need to figure out the wiring diagrams, both in the haynes manual (of central locking) and the instructions; and then match them together 1+1 should equal 2!!!

Where are you in the southwest?   Im down near camborne,  might be quite a way away.   I have never fitted one of them to a golf but have done hundreds of alarms and know my way arround the MK3 loom,  might be able to give you a hand.
10 golfs and counting!

Plymouth, Plympton to be exact. It is in Devon, I'm like 30mins from exeter.
