Virtual Daylight Xenon Conversion Kit from Awesome?

http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/vw%20golfmk5/lighting.html

wanted to have xenon's on the car but diddnt in the end (coulddnt find that many!) Just wondering if its worth spending £140 on the kit or just plump for the Phillips bulbs for £20 odd.

Any experiences with either of these would be appreciated!

why does anyone do anything to make money.

the fact is cars with bi-xenon headlamps by law have to have headlamp washers, which you might have, however you also need a sensor on the rear axle, normally factory fitted, which auto levels when the car is heavily loaded, otherwise you blind oncoming traffic.

Will this be the case on the Philips' bulbs?

if you mean the Philips blue vision bulbs, then no its doesn't apply, as they just give a xenon look, still just halogen H7s.

They aren't exactly selling illegal goods. If you have the winter pack fitted (including the headlight washers) then the kit isn't illegal. It is the fact that they do not mention this that is a little disconcerting.

Hurdy, you're wrong, as I said above:

theres a huge thread on this from about a year ago, where someone was going to retro fit them, and TT blew them out of the water, as he does know the law.
